Basic Skills in Floristry
This practice-oriented training program imparts the fundamental skills required for day-to-day work in a flower shop. It is designed for anyone interested in flowers and plants who wishes to learn about techniques, approaches, and design; expand their professional skills; and acquire a solid foundation of knowledge for the florist’s daily routine.
The course content is closely aligned with professional practice and the standard curriculum for florist training. Across approximately 400 teaching units, participants combine practical work with theory, ensuring a seamless integration of instruction and application.
The program concludes with the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) certification in ” Basic Skills in Floristry” and also serves as a preparatory course for the external florist examination.
Even without the intention of taking the exam, this seminar series offers a solid, practical introduction to floristry. All seminars can be booked individually, and participants receive a FlowerART Academy certificate for each one.
